Notes from the photographer, Molly Blair: Two photographers came together to design a stylized shoot with the inspiration of an english garden, roses, vintage table wares and natural light. elegant, relaxed, vintage wedding in an out of the way location. Yaya Orchards, located off a small highway road between Longmont and Lyons was the perfect setting. The rustic barn and newly growing apple trees provided the secluded feel we were after and the vintage props and styling allowed us to settle into the rustic atmosphere of the property. We shot this styled shoot with a mixture of film and digital (about 80% film), which paired well with the vintage styling. We enhanced the vintage feel with a white farm table and chairs and organic and neutral florals. The lace dress and the selection of long necklaces gave the shoot a classy feel and the gray suit with top hat paired perfectly on the male model. We used a vintage pink couch and amazing chandelier to create a secluded hideaway in a corner of the property.
