Notes from Interior Designer DeaAnna Beat of Salt Interior Designs: This mom wanted a rustic design for her little boy's nursery. We collaborated on a design for this space that is just the right blend of baby boy charm and cute modern rustic that this momma wanted. We didnt want the room to feel too dark, so incorporating a lighter wood accent wall (an awesome textured wall paper treatment), white furniture and keeping the existing light paint color, kept the space feeling light and inviting. The geometric patterns, animal prints and pops of bright colors, make this a fun room. The crib was a cherry wood that was painted to bright white. In keeping with the plan of a rich rustic feel, the wood accents, branch mobile (mommas DIY fun idea!), wire storage baskets, and galvanized steel decor keep this nursery feel warm and cozy. It all came together beautifully (and with minimal tears). The large I AM artwork that hangs above the changing dresser was created by me at the request of this momma (designed in Photoshop and transferred to pine wood).
