Notes from Colorado Mom, Brittin: Ever since our photographer, Kevin Von Qualen, submitted photos of our engagement session and wedding in Steamboat in 2010, Ive loved following COUTUREcolorado. Crew's nursery was inspired by a series of art prints from the Happy Camper Collection at Hello Happy Design. These blue, mint green and gray prints with a slight tribal influence decorate one of the walls along with coordinating fabric designed by Hello Happy Design that covers several large canvases. This fabric was also used to create handmade pillows for the crib. Crib bedding and the changing pad cover was ordered from Etsy with a custom ordered baby blanket to go with the rest of the nursery decor. The wooden handmade arrows were purchased off of Etsy and painted the nursery colors. These arrows were mounted on the wall above the crib and finished off with frames purchased at Hobby Lobby that we painted white. We found the dresser and nightstand on Craigslist and painted them a metallic gunmetal gray color and switched out the knobs with simple white plastic ones. The window valance was made and covered with royal blue fabric and lamps were painted silver with lampshades changed out to plain white shades. The arrow light was purchased at Target, and we found a metal bin to hold Crew's diapers on the changing table and painted it blue to match. --- I personally loved these art prints so much that we are now selling them on our newly launched COUTUREcolorado BOUTIQUE.
