Notes from the wedding planner, Price Events:
Briana & JR’s wedding day was an unforgettable event. Being a wedding planner and florist for 8 years, Briana had prepared herself for her wedding day her whole life. As soon as Briana met JR and their relationship blossomed with a romantic proposal, their wedding vision began to shape itself!
Briana knew that she wanted her day to be special! Each wedding she has planned has had their unique touches that reflect what is important to the couple. Briana wanted her wedding day to reflect her relationship with JR, just as she believes when she is planning her client’s wedding. What Briana and JR share is a truly unique and beautiful connection, so it was only fitting for their wedding day to stand out in elegance and individuality.
Not wanting a traditional, seated dinner for their wedding guests, Briana & JR worked intensely with Occasions Catering and Peak Beverage to come up with a food pairing for their wedding reception that turned into “Acts” of food courses. These “Acts” were designed so their guests could experience different flavors from their favorite travel destinations! From tacos with margaritas to chicken and waffle bites with a hand grenade, each act represented their adventures together!
The flowers were beautifully tied in with Briana’s wedding vision, with brilliant pops of white, a touch of smooth mauve, an elegant hint of violet and of course the dark greenery to bring it all together. In every floral arrangement, from her gorgeous bridal bouquet, to JR’s floral pocket square, to the arrangement designed for the great hearth in The Hearth House, to the mini floral arrangements centered on the cocktail tables, Briana wanted a moody color palette for her floral design, and that is precisely what she got! Especially against the whitewashed brick of The Hearth House, Briana’s color palette for her floral design stood out. The bright yet moody colors in her floral arrangements added a sophisticated edge to The Hearth House and to Briana and JR’s wedding day.
For their reception, Briana and JR wanted their wedding guests to feel comfortable. So, rather than just going with a traditional open dance to entertain the wedding guests for the evening, they decided to add their own twist by providing board games for their guests to play while listening to a live band!
Their wedding day ended perfectly with a "sparktacular" grand exit and a flight to Cancun! Briana and JR only wish that they could experience their wedding day over and over again!
