Occasions Catering is headquartered in Southwest Denver. Owners Jeremy Bronson and David Tenenbaum bought the business in 2008, building ever since on the foundation Sandy Tenenbaum established during her 38 years running Occasions by Sandy. Re-launched in 2012 as Occasions Catering, the business thrives on innovation, specializing in restaurant quality cuisine befitting the burgeoning Denver culinary scene.
Occasions has executed countless award winning events of all sizes and themes, from nonprofit galas and corporate holiday parties to ornate weddings and celebrations. Emblematic of the trust our clients instill in Occasions is the near-universal rate at which our clients choose us to cater their events again after working with us, and volunteer to serve as references with other clients. Most local venues with preferred catering lists include Occasions as a partner.
We strive to minimize the environmental impact – and maximize the positive economic impact – of our business, including a preference for sustainable food products, reliance on local and craft purveyors, and recycling and composting both at events and at our facility.
Occasions is a Certifiably Green Denver business, having completed a rigorous certification process involving upgrades in facilities, new purchasing methodologies, and enhanced processes. We also regularly donate, via We Don’t Waste, high-quality food prepared for, but not consumed, at the events we cater.
